The Tillian era formula is very obvious (for better and for worse), yet the album also shows some nice experimentation (i.e Into the Sunset's trap influences and Calentamiento Global's Spanish love letter) along with some hints of Johnny and Kurt era styled songs (Nothing Shameful and One in a Million). Some songs sound so safe it hurts (Born to Fail and Three Wishes), Night Sway sounds like Secret Band featuring Tillian and I love it. Overall quite ran enjoyable experience but it's their weakest effort since Instant Gratification. Honestly I felt there was a missed opportunity for some powerful choruses on this album but at least we got Prisoner and Lyrics Lie. Perhaps leaving Born to Fail on the cutting room floor in favour for Head Hunter may have helped a bit?
