I really just don't get it. I can hear some layers of emotion in the album but there's just nothing too special at all about the melodies or vocals and even though they were obviously going for a raw sound the production is just unbearably bad. I can't help feeling superficial while typing this because I know there's so much that other people hear/feel with this album that goes in through one ear and out the other and I can kinda sense the mood but the musicianship it's just too mediocre to make up for the production even if there's some cool instrumentation. I don't get why so many of you think it's a masterpiece, but hey, to each his own.
