I'm mostly in love with this EP. The guitars weave a speedy tapestry of abrupt starts and stops, the drums remind me of The Fall of Troy in the way that they mesh with the vocals, and the vocals themselves are superb. Even the bass has a few standout bits, but for the most part it closely follows the guitarline. Overall, that's a minor issue - and if anything, it's a positive, since the bass itself is speedy. I could care less. This album is fun as hell, with the only negative possibly being the lyrics.

Vicious, crunching, and at times even jubilant - it'd be great if the production was better, but with a record this great, it's tough to complain.

Old Gray Everything I Let Go & The Things I Refuse To
Another solid release from Old Gray, and I very much like the direction they're going.
Starts off a little weaker, but Six Years is one of the best songs they've written since
their inception. Definitely pick this up, it's free anyways if you want to be, like, a
jambroni and not buy it on vinyl or cassette.

It's fast, it's catchy, it's aggressive - it's punk. And who doesn't love the Ergs? Great EP from the band.

Saintly Rows In a Year, We Were Nothing
Really solid stuff with a few songs that wow'd me right away. In Parting is insanely catchy. Best Harlem screamo band without question
The Blood Brothers ...Burn, Piano Island, Burn
Todos Caeran After Dark
This Funeral Diner worship-heavy record is honestly nearly as good as the Underdark - not quite there, of course, but it's a sexy sophomore effort by some screamo upstarts. Dance Dance Dance is a particularly awesome song, but the entire record meshes and gells well all around. Great music.

Battle Of Wolf 359 The Death Of Affect
The fact that there isn't more said of this record is borderline criminal. This is a very solid album, complete with the typical catharsis and melancholy guitar lines typical of the genre. The only complaints lowering the rating slightly are some issues I have with its replayability and samesiness on a few tracks.
