For me Pinkerton launched a 3-year Weezer obsession and got me into music in general. To some it's a generic 90's rock album - for others it's much more. So while I would totally understand how some could give this album a lower score, I need to factor in my personal feelings for it and the effect is has had on my life, which borders on supernatural. 4.0 excellentAbout Tess Song of the BirdLITE For All the InnocenceMogwai The Hawk Is HowlingMogwai Happy Songs for Happy PeopleWeezer The Blue Album3.5 greatAlkaline Trio Maybe I'll Catch FireAlkaline Trio GoddamnitAlkaline Trio Good MourningColdplay Viva La VidaGenesis A Trick of the TailJefferson Airplane Bless Its Pointed Little HeadLITE FilmletsNo Knife Hit Man DreamsNo Knife Fire In The City Of AutomatonsRakim The 18th LetterThe Mars Volta NoctourniquetThe Mars Volta Frances the MuteThe Mars Volta The Bedlam in GoliathVampire Weekend Modern Vampires of the City3.0 goodAlkaline Trio From Here To InfirmaryAlkaline Trio CrimsonAphasia (TWN) Take it, You Need MedicineOverall feeling is better than their debut, though melodies may be less memorable.Aphasia (TWN) The Crocodile Society Of AphasiaColdplay Mylo XylotoFirst 8 tracks (or 7 if you don't include the initial 50 second intro) are great, they flow together very well. If you're just listening off-hand, you're going to hear a lot of noise and not really understand what everyone is raving about.
