Love the atmosphere and 'Change' is fantastic, kind of like something off Tools Lateralis. For some reason simple boy keeps playing in my head, I think I need to listen to this album again. 4/5 3rd Listen: Cant get enough of 'Simple boy', and 'Set Fire to the Hive' has me jumping around the room. The epicness of new day is washing over me . 4.5/5 4th Listen: Felt like I was on a musical journey. The atmosphere of this record is so rich. Loving every seconds of it. The last time I felt like this was listening through the entirety of Lateralis. This album will be in my top ten for years to come 5/5 God I love the Aussie music scene atm. They sound like a 90's era radiohead fronted by Jeff Buckley, but with a modern polish. Seriously the vocalist for this band is fantastic. There is a real variety in the songs on this album, from fast paced rockers like 'Ban all the Music' and 'Painkiller', to slower paced beautiful ballads like 'Lover don't leave' and groovier cuts like 'Itch' and 'Drawing Pins'. rThis album has been massively overlooked and you certainly should give it a listen if you liked Royal Bloods record last year.
