4.5 superb
Ratt Infestation
Could have easily come out between their first two CD's in the 80's. GREAT stuff.
The Friday Night Boys Off The Deep End
Catchy hooks, great guitars, awesome harmony. What's not to like if you like all of the previous. It IS highly produced stuff and for those that like a more garage type sound this isn't for you. I'm guessing that's where the 2.0 ratings came from. Easily my favorite CD of 2009.
The Friday Night Boys That's What She Said

3.5 great
The Friday Night Boys The Sketch Process
Not quite as good as the other EP or their full length CD, but still has enough hooks, guitars, harmony, and fun lyrics to please. As I've said before, their stuff is highly produced and 'studioized' sounding music and for those that like a more raw sound, best stay away as you will not like this stuff. I happen to like more of the bubble gum sound and the mix of that, great lyrics, punchy guitars, and fun guitar solos (a rarity for bands like this) makes this band a winner for me.
