| Of all of the derivative Christian indie post hardcore acts to come out of the post-As Cities Burn/Thrice era, Least of These's debut EP may set the band up to be the best. They manage to to take advantage of the soft/heavy style ACB perfected better than most, with genuinely purposeful soft interludes and occasionally truly massive guitar walls. Even though their lyrics remain horribly cliche, something it seems as though no one is capable of avoiding right now in the scene, they are on to something with the guitars and drums. It's worth noting, though, that ACB sort of already did the exact sound they are going for here. |
