Tourniquet Psycho Surgery
One of the best slabs of metal ever created. Sadly, it gets largely overlooked for its christian-based content. Let the music speak for itself.
Tourniquet Microscopic View of a Telescopic Realm
The best Tourniquet album ever. Technical and creative and mindbogglingly good. Please don't pass this up... it should be right up there with anything Atheist or the like has done.

This is fantastic album hand's down. Don't let the group's Christian moniker fool you. This is some of the most unique death metal around. Mortification have always been innovative.
Mortification Triumph of Mercy
I really really really enjoy this album. It's catchy and loaded with good riffs. The album is somewhat cohesive in that it deals with lead-man/bassist/vocalist Steve Rowe's battle with cancer. One of Mort's finest.

Morbid Angel Gateways to Annihilation
Mortification Envision Evangelene
This album is considered one of Mort's finest among the group's fanbase. It's a Christian concept album. The music style on this album has more of an old thrash/power metal feel. It suffers from the use of electronic drums.
Mortification Blood World
There are some really great songs here, and in true Mort style, a few cheesy. Overall though the record is extremely catchy, and is probably Mort's most popular album.
Mortification The Evil Addiction Destroying Machine
This album surprised me. The production is much better than the past few Mort albums, and the drumming has definitely stepped up a notch. The only thing stopping me from giving this album a higher rating are Steve Rowe's annoying vocals. Overall though, the music is fantastic.
Mortification The Silver Cord is Severed
Don't judge it by its cover. This is a very solid record. Mort's songwriting capabilities really come through.
Mortification Hammer of God
This is a really really cool album by one of Christian metal's finest. Thrash and death metal are the prevailing styles. Good songwriting and catchy.

A delightful little gem that will sink it's catchy chorus hooks and simple yet creative production into your soul, and become a shining beacon of bling on your shelf.
Tourniquet Pathogenic Ocular Dissonance
I've always loved this album. Some of these songs are techincal wonders... a couple are just too odd to really get into... but overall the album is brilliant.

3.5 great
Deftones Deftones
Deftones Saturday Night Wrist
Hypocrisy The Arrival
Jimmy Eat World Chase This Light
Katatonia Tonight's Decision
Lady Gaga The Fame
Mortification Erasing the Goblin
It's not Mort's best, but it is largely enjoyable. There are many different styles mixed on this disc, anything from thrash to death to groove metal, it's all here.
Mortification Brain Cleaner
This album was a return to Mort's death metal beginnings. Honestly I found a lot of the lyrics to be subpar and some of the riffing generic. It's not a bad album, as there are some definite stand-out tracks, but it seems that Mort was suffering from lack of creativity here and just went for the old-school throwback.
Mortification Relentless
This is an album worthy of any Mort fan's collection. It has a few really good songs, but overall not the band's best work imo.
Mortification Primitive Rhythm Machine
The title track alone is worth owning this... one of the most interesting and catchy songs Mort ever wrote. The rest of the album is a dance between thrash, groove, and grind, sadly lacking in cohesiveness. Definitely some fantastic songs here, but overall a little sloppy for Mort.
Opeth My Arms, Your Hearse
Opeth The Roundhouse Tapes
Showbread Anorexia Nervosa
Tourniquet Stop the Bleeding
Great music, but can't get into the vocals on this one. Never did care for much falsetto
Tourniquet Where Moth and Rust Destroy
A solid album... not my favorite by these guys, though. It has interesting guitar production and some fantastic songs... especially the title track... but it seems that the band lost a lot of passsion with this album. Check out their older material first.
