An Endless Sporadic Ameliorate
It may seem weird for me to rate this a 5 but this prog without mucky wankery or shit vocals to detract from the listening experience. Each and every song is tightly written, with songs being melody and rhythm driven rather than by constant noodling. The beautiful acoustic sections on "Sun Of Pearl" and the funky wah wah parts on "Impulse" are the best parts on the whole album. Plus ,it's only 4 songs, so it doesn't bore at all.

50 Cent Get Rich or Die Tryin'
Why should you care if 50's name is stamped to this? Does that automatically make it garbage? Okay, sure it's got some samey sounding songs and 50 sounds like a sloth on just about every track but he makes his songs fun, whether telling stories of drug deals and hustles or boasting about how much sex he gets and how much weed he smokes. This is confidence and swagger displayed head on before the term "swag" even got big. 50 started the formula every rapper uses now but much better. Also, much of his success was on account of Dre's beats, which are usually funky club stompers or epic, cinematic productions. I'l be damned if this isn't near perfect.

Atmosphere God Loves Ugly
Okay so it's not the perfect 5 i had it at...but i'll be damned if this isn't still extremely good. The first 10-12 songs are absolutely great lyrically, with Slug delivering heartfelt and personal lyricism at its best but the rest of the album falls short after that. The beats are pretty hit and miss, Mostly because Ant doesn't know how to make a snare drum sound right. However, the rollicking minor key piano on "Save The Day" and the depressive string samples on "Lovelife" prove Ant's capability to make almost perfect beats. An outstanding album only bogged down by the clunky last 3rd, Godlovesugly is worth a number of listens.

Buckethead From The Coop
i love the demo sound quality and the variety of tracks. however there need not be two versions of the same tracks
Buckethead Shadows Between The Sky
What can i say about Buckethead? I love the man's music. This is the chilest thing he's released ever. Songs like "Sled Ride" are the reason music was meant to be heard and admired. Buckethead plays a lot of beautiful jazzy melodies and such on the acustic guitar. The only thing that plagues this is what plagues all BH albums. He plays a lot of the same patterns and shit on every song, with very minor differentiation. Fucking chill though.

Chali 2na Fish Outta Water
Fish Outta Water is definitely an interesting release. It's less politically oriented than some of the other material he's done and he's no longer rapping on Jurassic 5 type beats. Instead, we get just as awesome club beats, a few good guest appearances, and Chali's great lyrics. Also, his booming bass and smooth-as-an-oiled-up-latino-girl's-skin-type flow definitely are the best parts of this. However the album lacks steady pacing and the latter half of the album is weaker than the first

I don't think aesop rock fans are going to be disappointed. the album has a variety of styles and a lot to showcase in the lyrical and musical department. My problems are the short length and rob sonic bogging down a few tracks. a pretty good effort, it would be better if it were an aesop release

Mac Lethal 11:11
okay, the original 11:11 sessions are technically better but that lacks what this has; a sense of fun. Mac Lethal is brighter and bouncier on here and even though he creates some pop-rap parodies(Pound That Beer, Makeout Bandit) they're pretty much anthems with clever lyrics in themselves. The best part of 11:11 is Sun Storm, where he delves into an inspirational story with an anthemic chorus riding over a country-folk laced beat. I may like the original 11:11 sessions better, but this has more soul and fun than that could ever have

okay so its not as fap worthy after listening to it a few times...it's really a hybrid of the worst parts of desire and the best parts of internal affairs, making it an uneven combination
Praxis Metatron
Primus Tales from the Punchbowl
the songs were more psychedelic and grateful dead jam rock based but the instrumental sections absolutely slay. the songs blend together a lot though
Primus June 2010 Rehearsal
yeah these are rerecorded songs but primus shows theyve still got musical skills, even though les sounds weaker than he has ever been. The 7 minute versions of songs are great
Queens of the Stone Age Lullabies to Paralyze
Queens of the Stone Age Era Vulgaris
Radiohead Pablo Honey
Raekwon Shaolin vs. Wu-Tang
It's a definite grower......A lot of the songs are good, but too many of them suck complete ballz. Rae's still excellent, but his beats are pretty generic
Raekwon Unexpected Victory
Rush Rush
Saigon The Greatest Story Never Told
Sick of It All Based on a True Story
The music is great, up-to-standards hardcore but the drumming and vocals are a bit off putting even for hardcore. They've aged remarkably well
Sigur Ros Valtari
This is probably the best Yes Record in a while ever since Close to the Edge came out
Slayer Haunting the Chapel
Slayer God Hates Us All
probably one of their better records. it shows more hardcore influence without losing some of the emtal touch. the songwriting is still the same as usual
Slayer Divine Intervention
Slayer Live Undead

Apathy Wanna Snuggle?
apathys second album has bumping beats and lyrical skills...but there about 6-7 tracks of filler
Apathy Honkey Kong
not as good as wanna snuggle but not bad by any means
Aphex Twin Drukqs
Army Of The Pharaohs The Torture Papers
Asher Roth Seared Foie Gras With Quince & Cranberry
okay let's face it....Asher Roth has probably inspired a million wack rappers with his frat-hop sound. Here, he's improved a little , but not too much. His flow still bites early Eminem so badly and his lyrics aren't very clever but the man has an ear for beats(production from Madlib, RZA, Just Blaze, Kanye West, Etc.) and an attracting, listener-friendly, voice that isn't too hallenging. Rik Smits is definitely the song where Asher shows his potential and passion over one of the best Just Blaze beats i've ever heard. I'm personally excited for his next release, to see where he takes his music.
Atmosphere Seven's Travels
Arguably the worst Atmosphere album besides Overcast!, Seven's Travels is fairly inconsistent. This is what happens when you have a stand out song in "Trying To Find A Balance" with it's dark harpsichord pattern and Slug sounding angrier than ever. The focus on developing a hit single like this leaves the rest of the album (pun intended) imbalanced. It starts off average and ends weak. The only redeeming factors are the usual: Slug's lyrics and anger, and Ant's ability to craft semi decent beats. Do yourself a favor, and only listen to this once or twice in your lifetime.

Lupe goes B.O.B. on us music and beats wise, but other than that this is rap for people who don't normally listen to rap and think Lupe is the best..which he's not. He doesn't have anything new or relevant to say, and this just leaves a bad taste in your mouth. ugh, you guys are overrating this

Roots Manuva Run Come Save Me
this album would be better if Roots Manuva kept his bars rhyming and the album didn't drag on for 17 tracks. His voice is either good or terrible, depending on preferences of British rappers. His lyrics are nothing to snuff at, but the beats are awesome. "Witness(1 Hope) has the most bumping, shaking beat i've ever heard and Join The Dots(with the ever excellent Chali 2na) rides a dark, orchestral beat that keeps the pace moving. Only the beats and gues spots really keep this one alive
RXYZYXR Geometrical Metal
Slayer Reign in Blood

shows some diversity with a nu metal influence but it gets quite boring after 3 or 4 songs
Sonic Youth Dirty
Sonic Youth Sonic Youth

the rapping isnt bad at all but the music is pretty cheesy and the riffs are boring as shit. Occassionally, they come up with some awesomely cool guitar part to make up for it

i dunno why i listened to this. they're all great rappers but there's no chemistry. It all sounds very forced. i'd have to say the best verses were by Royce definitely.
Slayer Undisputed Attitude
a few good punk covers and a few lame ones. only worth it for hardcore slayer fans
Slayer Christ Illusion
Sonic Youth Confusion Is Sex
Stratovarius Elysium
The Strokes Angles
The Who Endless Wire
Thrice Major/Minor
all of you are wrongrbut maybe it's just me; to me this band has never done anything incredible or spectacular, with all of their music incorporating the basic conventions of post-hardcore/emo.alt rock or whatever the hell they are. It's nothing special, and sure they churn out a few decent tunes, but this isn't worth the amount of hyperbolic claim it recieves. So again, I reiteraterYOU ARE ALL WRONG
White Zombie Soul-Crusher
Yonder Mountain String Band Mountain Tracks Volume 5

2.0 poor
(hed) p.e. Truth Rising
Apakalypse Blood Godz
Buckethead Needle In A Slunk Stack
somewhat odd remix album that im not a fan of except for a few songs
Cage (USA-NY) Depart From Me
Cannibal Corpse Gore Obsessed
DragonForce The Power Within
This isn't very good at all. Its basically old Dragonforce but with a md-range singer and more digestible, shorter songs. However, the song writing is the typical DF formula without much variation in tempo or riffs and Hudson is bland on vocals. The epic, cheesy bombast this record has does make it fun to listen to, if only for a few tracks
Dream Theater When Dream and Day Unite
Eminem Relapse
ok, eminem can still flow, still has sick beats, and still has sick lyrics.
the problems?
the accent, while allowing him to rhyme abnormal forms of words isnt bad per se, its just OVERUSED throughout the whole album
another problem. the subject matter, while sickeining like the slimshady lp, really isnt anything to snuff at.
topics include drugs, rape, celbrity bashing, murder, pills, moms, etc,
Gucci Mane The Appeal: Georgia's Most Wanted
his last album was really good but here hes trapped within his own cliches and ends up being boring and uninspired.
