I don't know how to describe this album other than "mind blowing". Cliche's aside, ABR kicks complete ass with this album.
The Truth of A Liar: 8.5/10
Fantastic intro to the album.
Up Against The Ropes: 7.5/10
The good work continues, but...
Back Burner: 10/10
ABR kills it here. Some of the best drumming I've ever heard is in this track. 2nd best on album.
The Blinding Light: 7/10
If there was a weak point in this album, I guess it'd be this song, although calling it weak is blasphemy.
Composure: 11/10
This song makes me want to cry with tears of joy. Possibly my absolute favorite song.
Vital Signs: 9.5/10
And so it goes on, vital signs features some of the best breakdown style rhythms in the album.
The Eleventh Hour: 8/10
Doesn't impress like the last 2 tracks, but still great cymbal work and lyrics.
The Balance: 8/10
Fails to show me anything that I had yet to hear from ABR, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.
Black Sheep: 10/10
Jizz.
An American Dream: 9/10
Interesting lyrics, although a bit ambiguous. Excellent drumming patterns.
Redemption: 10/10
Cool stuff man, ABR closes the album on a high note with one of their all-time best works. |
