How refreshing. So much pop, so many "mad beats" and synths, autotune, explosive shred solos.
Deer Ticks Debut is none of that. It is simple, heartfelt folk-rock. Gravely vocals and simple, powerful instrumentations are fantastic. The song ashamed is beautiful and perfect. Check it out, with dirty dishes, these old shoes, and Art isnt Real. Some great pickings.

Yellowcard When You're Through Thinking, Say Yes

3.0 good
Arcade Fire Neon Bible
Yeah, Its well produced, phenomenally orchestrated , and it is a GOOD album. But going between this and funeral, it just doesn't work for me. Where did that magical feeling go, the warm raw and earnest voice of win butler? where Funeral tugged on my heartstrings, Neon Bible leaves me feeling kind of empty...
