I am only half-way rthrough, but the raw "garage-rock" appeal that made Is This It and (to a lesser degree) Room on Fire so rendearing seems present solely in Under Cover of Darkness. The instrumentation is more complex, runnerving, and at times, bewildering. Track 5 is a strong point, but I'm preferring Phrazes for the Young to this right rnow.rEdit: I'm finished.
