Big bold melodies and driving, hooky guitar riffs. Ed Roland is a deft songwriter, and 'Rabbit' displays this talent nicely. These guys are sadly underrated and overlooked, and often fall into obscurity when pitted among the "dislikes" of other shit bands around today. Collective Soul, even at their weakest, are infinitely better than anything any NickelHinderCobraback could dream of offering. There is a reason why Collective Soul is still around and for their lasting appeal. Buy it, give it a real chance, turn the volume up and enjoy some real music.
