Against Me! Crime as Forgiven By
At the Drive-In Relationship of Command
Relationship of Command is pure energy, emotion, and passion. The music sends shivers down my spine everytime I listen. It sounds very cold and distant, yet very human and relatable at the same time.
Bob Dylan Blood on the Tracks
This is really close to being a 5. Best thing I've heard in a long time. Who knows, this could be a 5 one day.rEdit: (1 year later) the day has come

Night Birds Born To Die In Suburbia
I don't want to oversell this, but this is one of the best punk albums I've ever heard. Keep in mind, I'm a big Night
Birds fanboy. But really, this album is intense, catchy as hell, and more mature than their previous works. There
are now slow, brooding songs to complement the aggressive surf punk attack. The lyrics are focused more on
society than sci-fi B-movies. This album is aggressive and angry in a controlled, intelligent manor. Here's the big
hyperbole to end the soundoff: if this album doesn't go down as one of the best punk albums ever, that would
truly be an injustice to these guys and what they have created with Born to Die in Suburbia.
Preoccupations Viet Cong
Sleater-Kinney The Woods
Streetlight Manifesto Everything Goes Numb
In my perspective, this is THE perfect album, musically and lyrically. The songs are well-crafted and passionate, and the lyrics are intelligent yet emotional. All of the instruments seem to come together to form musical perfection.

King Crimson In the Court of the Crimson King
I've never been much of a fan of progressive rock, but when I listen to In the Court of the Crimson King, I am mesmerized every time. The atmosphere that is creates is awe-inspiring. If not for the dull moment that is the majority of Moonchild, this album could possibly be a 5.

I would say that this is his most varied release with some of his best songwriting. It may not be as immediate as Something Wild or Some Distant Moon but I definitely think it's a step in the right direction

This is by no means a bad album. It's decent from a technical aspect. However, this album does not connect with me on an emotional level whatsoever. I find this album a pleasant listen overall, but it bores me after awhile, especially on the title track. I just can't seem to get into it. edit 12/31/12: I was young and stupid this is amazing

Sigur Ros ( )
This album, from my personal experience, has been the hardest to rate thus far. That is, this is the most subjective music I've ever heard. The album tends to be as good as I feel like making it. One listen it will sound amazing, the next listen I just hear boring piano riffs and some gibberish singing. That being said, this album is unique in the sense that it is open to more interpretation than any other music I know of. This is both the beauty and the flaw of ( ). The title of the album is quite fitting, as though the listener can fill the parentheses with whatever seems fit at the time. Maybe that's the genious of it, that the album's enjoyment is up to the listener.

This is punk in the most raw form possible. It somehow finds a way to strip down punk even more than it already is. Extremely short, fast, in-your-face songs filled with samples and spoken words in between. Charles Bronson are about as good as powerviolence gets. This is perhaps the only album and/or compilation with 100+ songs on it that I can listen to all the way through.r

Big D and the Kids Table For the Damned, the Dumb, and the Delirious
This album seems to be a little more generic than their previous efforts, but it is a return to their ska-punk sound after the dub-influenced Strictly Rude and the laid-back Fluent in Stroll. The album has plenty of strong tracks, although some of the 17 could be seen as filler.

Sorne House of Stone
Sorne is the musical equivalent of the beauty of a rainbow, or the glory of a dream land that enchants the soul. The vocals, often vague, are captivating. It's like they're magical. And he doesn't even use conventional instruments! The various percussion instruments are beautiful. He taps into the music of ancient tribes, and this music is emotion in its purest form. hahaha.
