| Alter Bridge matures again. While the album is softer than Blackbird, the tracks have a brooding depressing rfeeling that works fantasticly for the band. Tremonti's cleans are more noticeable throughout and the two singer rdynamic adds a whole new depth to their sound. Tremonti's solos are a bit weaker this time around, but Myle's rvocal strength and the awesome riffs make up for it. I really didn't think I would say this, but this is prpbably as rgood if not better than Blackbird. |

| The best outing to date by pop punk band Paramore. Hayley's voice is among the best I've heard in a while, the drumming is top notch, and the two guitarists play off each other excellently. Amongst the other excellent things about the album is it's excellent production. Backup vocals are cystal-clear but never too loud, as is the bass. The album is not flawless however, as the album is structured similar to a sandwhich. Looking Up and Feeling Sorry are rather lackluster and annoying tracks. Overall and album worth checking out for any alternative, emo, pop punk or whatever other unessecary subgenre you place it in. |
