August Burns Red Messengers
This album is not typical to metalcore. ABR are known for their many breakdowns, intense guitar riffs, many squeals, dynamic changes throughout songs, and Jake Luhrs' growling vocals. This album has all that, but the technicality of the band has skyrocketed from Thrill Seeker. The lyrics are very powerful to people of faith and the album flows extremely well. This album is an essential metalcore release and is really fantastic.

The Audition Self-Titled Album
I loved Champion and this improves on Champion tenfold. Imagine taking all of the lovable pop-punk melody from Controversy Loves Company and infusing it with everything they improved on talent-wise as a band in Champion and you have this album. One of the catchiest albums I have heard this year, certainly a shining star and a perfect piece of my summer playlist.

The music inside the album art is so different from what you may expect. One of the more poppy and dancey albums released this year. My friend says: "Sounds like fruit juice to me, sweet and tart at the same time, delicious."
Protest the Hero Fortress
Honestly, I wasn't into Kezia. I wasn't into Protest's punk style either with their debut EP. Fortress changed my mind about them. Insanely technical, another HUGE progression from album to album, gets better and better with every listen, even after owning a copy since the release.

Rilo Kiley More Adventurous
Savoir Adore In The Wooded Forest

Search The City A Fire So Big The Heavens Can See It
Could be the best act bar Anberlin on Tooth & Nail Records. This album is full of catchy hooks, powerful guitars, driving snare and emotional vocals. Search The City have a very bright future. This album is very, very good.
The Apples in Stereo Velocity Of Sound
The Apples in Stereo New Magnetic Wonder
The Audition Champion
I'm completely shocked more people aren't in love with this album. Controversy Loves Company was terrible! This album is easily a 4 and is arguably the best pop punk album released this year. Emotionally driving, sexual lyrics, great solos from Seth Johnson and fantastic tenor vocals from Danny Stevens. If you like pop punk, get this album.
