Guns N' Roses Chinese Democracy |
This album is by no means a masterpiece, if anything it is a disappointment. But all too often when something disappoints people are quick to exaggerate about the actual product. Chinese Democracy is far from terrible, but because people were expecting Appetite for Destruction Pt. 2 they quickly wrote it off as a bad album.
Overall this album is a great accomplishment. For me the title track was if not the best, at least one of them. It was one hell of an opening track, that's for sure. My personal favorites are "Better", "Riad N The Bedouins", and "This Is Love". Overall the album was a good listen, and the songs I listed I find catchy as hell, but I was kind of hoping for more. |
