It's one of those albums you feel like you're supposed to like, but you just don't get into it. Welcome Home (Sanitarium) and the title track are okay. |
Mindless Self Indulgence Another Mindless Rip Off |
Hard to find, but barely worth the bother. There are five new songs, none of them are bad, but none of them stand out and aren't really the band's best material. It's basically an EP of B-Sides and a few decent remixes of "What Do They Know?". I'd only recommend it for die-hard fans of the band. |
Mindless Self Indulgence Shut Me Up: The Remixes + 3 |
The cover of Big Poppa is really good, but Adios Amigos is kind of boring (and too similar to Mark David Chapman, which I like better). The remixes of Shut Me Up are also so-so, the Tommie Sunshine one is long and kind of boring. The demo is interesting, but appropriately titled "Original Crappy Demo". The STV remixes are okay, better than the Shut Me Up ones, but didn't we get enough STV on the STV single??? |
