This is one of the best new bands I've come across recently. The singing and screaming is very good, the guitarist is absolutely amazing (!!!), the bass isn't buried under the music like a lot of bands seem to do, and the drumming is great (love the cowbell part in Cowbell's Makin' A Comeback)
Although there are alot of post-hardcore/screamo bands out there, Memphis May Fire immediately got my attention with their unique sound, because although they are a post-hardcore band, they mix post-hardcore, southern rock, and other influences to make something AWESOME.
This is a great EP, and I really mean it when I say, if you have the chance to buy this, DO IT.
Oh, and just so you know, their vocalist Chase Ryan left the band for family reasons, so they are looking for a new singer. Alot of bands that get a new singer end up sucking, but the music here is so good that they will still be amazing
