| i first heard holland, 1945 on a myspace. i fell in love with it. i quickly did my research and found out all about them. this album is amazing. though the guitar is quite simple, jeff mangum makes up for it with amazing lyrics. his voice may not be the best, but it is highly emotional, which makes it great. this has climbed high to become one of my favorite albums, and an indie classic. their first album, on avery island, is another great record. |
