| The reason why this album is so groundbreaking isn't just because of the beautiful atmosphere, use of electronics, or even the flawless songwriting... If you listen to post metal, you'd definitely agree that NONE of these songs get boring. The repetition is not truly repetition because as the songs progress, subtle dynamics are added just to make the buildup that much better. To realize all of those subtleties and all of the flawless aspects aforementioned, is to realize the greatness of this band, and the perfection that is this album. |
