underrated band. Too bad they seem to be shedding their hardcore roots in their new music.

I stay of the opinion that hip-hop and post-hardcore / emo don't really work together well
cause it has a tendency to sound cheesy, but on this album it's not too bad. Lyricism is
definitely the weak part, but that's a given for emo rap. I also liked seeing all the
features from bands I enjoy, such as SeeYouSpaceCowboy, Static Dress and Silverstein

Starset Horizons
I was very skeptical of this, but i take it back. While admittedly not everything on here is good, i really appreciate
the return of the cinematic elements that kind of disappeared in Vessels and Divisions. Starset always does what
they’re best at: Writing catchy hooks/choruses, and presenting its own little grim lore. While I’m not too invested
in the story itself, i have always liked their music and this is definitely a return to form after a relatively poor album
in Divisions. Having said that, it’s way too long with way too much filler. Also, Dustin needs to scream more
because songs where he doesn’t just seem to blend into each other after a while.
Starset Divisions
Stellar Circuits Ways We Haunt
Great album, from a prog metal band with lots of Tool and 10 Years influences. For me, the standout tracks are Fell Under a Spell and Go With Your Ghost.

Innerpartysystem Innerpartysystem
Innerpartysystem kind of reminds me of Shaka Ponk in the sense that neither of them have put out
particularly interesting albums, but both of them have an individual song that carry their entire
discography. For Shaka Ponk that's "How We Kill Stars" and for Innerpartysystem that song is
"Don't Stop." There are probably more bands like this that I can't think of right now, but these
are two of the most notorious one hit wonder bands I know. The album is passable. There's nothing
offensively bad on here, but it lacks diversity. Like I said though, Don't Stop is the clear
highlight.

This is all my opinion of course and people might not like Don't Stop and How We Kill Stars nearly
as much as I do.
Jamie's Elsewhere Paradise
It's okay, but I expect a lot more from this band. Vocals are still as good as ever, but this is nothing compared to the 2 LPs they put out a decade ago.

There is nothing on here that is interesting. It is not creative, it is not nostalgic and the vocals are not nearly good renough to make up for it. They might have been aiming for radio play i guess.
Set It Off Midnight
The lyrics alone make this one of the worst albums to date. The music doesn't really do it
any favors either.
