I stay of the opinion that hip-hop and post-hardcore / emo don't really work together well
cause it has a tendency to sound cheesy, but on this album it's not too bad. Lyricism is
definitely the weak part, but that's a given for emo rap. I also liked seeing all the
features from bands I enjoy, such as SeeYouSpaceCowboy, Static Dress and Silverstein |

Starset Horizons |
I was very skeptical of this, but i take it back. While admittedly not everything on here is good, i really appreciate
the return of the cinematic elements that kind of disappeared in Vessels and Divisions. Starset always does what
they’re best at: Writing catchy hooks/choruses, and presenting its own little grim lore. While I’m not too invested
in the story itself, i have always liked their music and this is definitely a return to form after a relatively poor album
in Divisions. Having said that, it’s way too long with way too much filler. Also, Dustin needs to scream more
because songs where he doesn’t just seem to blend into each other after a while. |

Great album, from a prog metal band with lots of Tool and 10 Years influences. For me, the standout tracks are Fell Under a Spell and Go With Your Ghost. |
