A few days, a friend remind me about Jeff Gutt, our favorite participant on the X Factor, and told me he is now the singer of STP, one of my favorite bands, so i had to buy this. I was not expecting their change of sound, but the quality is there. Jeff is a great singer and he will fit perfectly alongside the DeLeo brothers and Eric Kretz.
This must be one of best albums i have listened in a long time.

3.5 great
Alice in Chains Rainier Fog
Shorter in lenght and more varied than their last album, but not quit good as their 2009 comeback.rA Solid 7 out of 10.

Pearl Jam Lightning Bolt
Pearl Jam Gigaton
Gigaton is not a disaster or even a new masterpiece. It falls right in between of those categories, like most albums the band have been releasing since vitalogy in 1994. There is mid-tempo songs with anthemic chorus, a pair of fast ones to pump up the blood, and of course, a couple of reflective and introspective acoustic ballads. The album lenght might scare occasional fans, but the songs have enough diversity to keep everyone interested for a dozen of listens.

Dance of the clairvoyants and Seven O Clock have potential to become interesting jams on their live shows.
Red Hot Chili Peppers Californication
Screaming Trees Uncle Anesthesia
Screaming Trees Buzz Factory
The Smashing Pumpkins Monuments to an Elegy
