5.0 classic
Caravan For Girls Who Grow Plump in the Night
Eagles One Of These Nights
Family Bandstand
Stunning barnstormer of an album! Their definitive statement in my opinion and John Wetton on bass and
background vocals really elevates this album to classic status. Start here if you are new to Family and then find
Fearless next which is just a tiny notch below Bandstand due to its lesser production quality. The reviewers who
gave this an average rating might have had issues with Roger Chapman's vocal style but it honestly grows on
you until you realize the man is a brilliant singer!
Find the Repertoire label CD version that is die cut as an exact replica of the original vinyl release. The
remastering on this one is outstanding! Only 4000 copies were pressed so get one before I buy them all.
Lindsey Buckingham Out of the Cradle
M. Ward Hold Time
His most satisfying album! Love the production approach on Hold Time.
Robert Cray Strong Persuader
The Memphis Horns make their first appearance on a good majority of the tracks and it's the start of a long relationship with Cray.
The Doors The Doors
Tommy Bolin Teaser

4.5 superb
Al Stewart Modern Times
Andy Summers and Robert Fripp I Advance Masked
Family Fearless
King Crimson Larks' Tongues in Aspic
Lindsey Buckingham Under the Skin
M. Ward More Rain
2016 album of the year as far as I'm concerned. Ignore the poor ratings.
Robert Plant The Principle of Moments
The Charlatans (UK) Some Friendly
Rob Collins is the heart and soul of this album with his stellar Hammond B3 organ playing. Be sure to get the
expanded remastered cd version of Some Friendly and soak in those incredible Madchester grooves!
The Charlatans (UK) The Charlatans
The Guess Who Share the Land
The Guess Who Canned Wheat

4.0 excellent
Chris Rea Whatever Happened To Benny Santini?

Family A Song For Me

Robert Cray Shame + A Sin
Robert Cray Midnight Stroll
Soft Machine Softs
The Charlatans (UK) Up At The Lake
The Guess Who American Woman
The Romantics In Heat

3.5 great
Caravan Back to Front
Sinclair back on bass and vocals! I don't understand why this album gets so much flak. It's a very solid collection except for one track Sally Don't Change.
The Guess Who Road Food
The Guess Who Artificial Paradise

3.0 good
Family It's Only A Movie
The Charlatans (UK) Up to Our Hips
Rob Collins had to go away for half of the recording sessions so his Hammond B3 is sorely missed on some of these tracks. It's still a good listen but not essential.

2.5 average
Andy Summers and Robert Fripp Bewitched
The Guess Who Rockin'

2.0 poor
The Guess Who #10
The Guess Who So Long, Bannatyne
Definitely one of the weaker post Bachman albums. One Man Army and Fidlin are embarrassing attempts at
humor that should have never reached the cutting room floor. Burton’s piano driven ballads are pleasant but he
sounds exhausted to me. The surgeon general should have intervened at this stage for the band. Drugs, booze
and rock n roll can be hazardous to your health.

1.5 very poor
King Crimson Islands
