Eagles One Of These Nights |
Family Bandstand |
Stunning barnstormer of an album! Their definitive statement in my opinion and John Wetton on bass and
background vocals really elevates this album to classic status. Start here if you are new to Family and then find
Fearless next which is just a tiny notch below Bandstand due to its lesser production quality. The reviewers who
gave this an average rating might have had issues with Roger Chapman's vocal style but it honestly grows on
you until you realize the man is a brilliant singer!
Find the Repertoire label CD version that is die cut as an exact replica of the original vinyl release. The
remastering on this one is outstanding! Only 4000 copies were pressed so get one before I buy them all. |
Lindsey Buckingham Out of the Cradle |
M. Ward Hold Time |
His most satisfying album! Love the production approach on Hold Time. |
Robert Cray Strong Persuader |
The Memphis Horns make their first appearance on a good majority of the tracks and it's the start of a long relationship with Cray. |
