Many people are regarding it as eminem’s Return to form and citing it as a shining example of like modern lyricism. Well that’s actually the dumbest statement ever uttered by human beings, because this album is shallow and whiny garbage fit for only the oldest of heads and white women who shout gang and call an ambulance if they were given something as spicy as say, mild salsa. This album breaks down to about 30% bitching about machine gun kelly, 10% complaining about his last albums poor reception, and then 60% talking about how much better he is than modern trap rappers while also stealing their beat and flow and doing it even worse than they did. Why he felt the need to make this and relaunch himself back into public view after his last album sold triple styrofoam, however I do know we are all suffering as a result. The only way this album could have been cornier than this is if he contacted Asher Roth and gave him a feature. In conclusion I wish the beats he used were given to someone with talent and I’m very sad and disheartened to know that Royce da 5’9 had to be involved with this dumpster fire despite having the best verse on the album. Death race for love is reverse Cultural appropriation, but whereas white people stole the cool parts of black culture Juice WRLD literally took the absolute worst elements that lie deep only in the souls of the most corny and edgy of white people. If i had to find a close comparison to him i would say Dahvie vanity is probably the only person who comes close. at its core this album is literally the same song repeated 22 times, except with each song the Auto tune gets worse and the subject matter makes him sound like more of a simp with each new iteration. How you could hail Chicago and not get aired out with all that suspect *** you be doing is an actual baffling oversight on behalf of its citizens. His edgy teenager persona aside this album is BORING i can hardly distinguish between the first few tracks because they sound exactly the same and when the beat finally "switches" it really does nothing special. the production is spacey, the guitar parts were heinous and sounded like ripoffs of more popular songs I've already heard, his Auto tune is garbage, and the lyrics are literally 3 minutes of she left me i'm sad and now i do drugs multiplied by 22. if kids get in their feelings to stuff like this I'm more than certain that i might drive them to suicide because i came close and i was nowhere near that edge. Juice maybe this will inspire you to overdose I can only hope that if that happens i won't be hearing another one of these.
