5.0 classic
blink-182 Enema Of The State
Bloodbath Resurrection Through Carnage
28ish seconds into Trail of Insects, there is this BARELY noticeable residual cymbal ring that makes me laugh
whenever I notice it. Mainly because it means Im not fucking deaf yet. Also the guitar tone on this album is
literally the best thing I have ever heard come out of an amplifier. Im fucking serious. This is how all guitars
should sound by default.

Nekrogoblikon The Fundamental Slimes and Humours
What do you get when you take 1/4th nü-metal pop, 1/4 PEAK Melodeath, 1/4th 80s styled power metal, and 1/4 rkeyboard goblins from space? Possibly the most unique album of the year. "The Fundamental Slimes and Humours" is rrelentlessly heavy at points, yet it's hooks are radio pop level catchy. Lyrically it plays out like a bizarre goblin based rBroadway show. This album is such a frenetic blend of styles that I honestly have trouble categorizing what genre it rshould even be considered. Despite crossing so many stylistic borders, Nekrogoblikon have clearly demonstrated that rthey have mastered the ability to blend pure goofiness with some genuinely amazing songwriting. The talent on display rhere is simply undeniable. rAs a follow up to Welcome to Bonkers, Nekrogoblikon has in my mind, cemented that they have the ability to put out rsome of the most creative, entertaining, genre-bending metal that I've ever heard in my life. rIn Short: I love this album and all of its oddities, this band shouldn?t work but it does. It isn? going to click with everyone, rjust like ?Welcome to Bonkers? before it, but if somehow it manages to worm itself into your brain, it is NEVER coming rout. r

Nekrogoblikon Welcome to Bonkers
It wont leave my head. Honestly, it took me quite a while to warm up to this album, but after giving it a front to rback listen, about 3 times, something just fucking clicked. Hidden directly beneath the goofy funhouse exterior of rWelcome To Bonkers, I found one of the most wildly creative, purely enjoyable, metal albums that I have heard in ra VERY long time.r(Apologize for the formatting, this site hates my phone apparently)

Wow. Not sure how I missed this. Clearly these guys have been “inspired” by TBDM, and on first listen seemed like they
were doing a decent job at recreating that sound. However it quickly becomes clear that this band lacks the song writing
chops to sound like anything besides a weak imitation. Overall it feels cheap and gimmicky.
