There are some solid stand alone songs on this album but the cohesiveness of his previous two efforts made you get lost in their world. The level of repetitiveness on this thing makes it a bit dull to listen to the whole way through. Random drum-machine beats with guitar lines buried in the mix that are nothing reminiscent of Ben at his most virtuosic. The best thing to come out of this album cycle so far was his variation of Far Out on YouTube, but even then it pales in comparison to anything on IFWWW or Noonday. Edit: inevitably grown on me a little in terms of having a number of take-away singles, but as a cohesive unit it still doesn't work.Black Sabbath ParanoidCancer Bats Birthing the GiantCancer Bats Hail DestroyerCity and Colour If I Should Go Before YouCity and Colour Bring Me Your LoveCity and Colour Little HellDaughter If You LeaveDeafheaven Roads to JudahDiabolic Liar & A ThiefDire Straits Dire StraitsEmma Ruth Rundle Some Heavy OceanGodspeed You! Days of Lantana, Walking Backwards, Richmond Avenue, Spirit and Little Plant being the standout tracks. Couldn?t Make It Up is the weakest Ben Howard song of all-time, super cheesy diatonic chord progressions and the section that is identical to Africa by Toto? not a fan. The tracks on this album would be better served with just Ben playing his Jazzmaster over a drum machine like he did in his intimate solo shows post collections.Bring Me The Horizon SempiternalDisturbed Ten Thousand FistsDisturbed The SicknessDisturbed IndestructibleDisturbed AsylumDisturbed BelieveGodspeed You!
