5.0 classic
A Perfect Circle Thirteenth Step
Deftones White Pony
Incubus (USA-CA) Make Yourself
Interpol Turn on the Bright Lights
Joy Division Unknown Pleasures
Kanye West Late Registration
Kendrick Lamar good kid, m.A.A.d city
Kendrick's brilliant sophomore album is the best of both worlds, both giving into the traditional
rap pitfalls of a juvenile point of view of power and simultaneously condemning it. All the while
bundling it into a cinematic world of just trying to finally break free and make something of
oneself. An absolute marvel and achievement.
Kendrick Lamar To Pimp a Butterfly
Nas Illmatic
Nirvana Nevermind
It's Kurt Cobain's dynamic, poetic lyricism and Dave Grohl's pounding, thunderous drum play that doesn't just bite you into place - it spellbounds.
Nirvana In Utero
Even with the impressively mangled but coordinated production, it's Cobain's descending spirit and fractured soul that strengthens and cradles the record's core.
Oneohtrix Point Never Replica
Portishead Dummy
Queens of the Stone Age Rated R
Queens of the Stone Age Songs for the Deaf
Rage Against the Machine Rage Against the Machine
Rise Against The Sufferer and the Witness
Sol Invictus In the Rain
A storybook odyssey that feels and acts like its titular self. The melancholic tone, the pain. Sol Invictus delivers a masterpiece that relishes in its agony and unleashes cathartic freedom from one's own soul. An absolute masterwork.
System of a Down Toxicity
The Stooges Raw Power
The White Stripes White Blood Cells
Tool Lateralus

4.5 superb
Bruce Springsteen The Legendary 1979 No Nukes Concerts
Eminem The Marshall Mathers LP
Gorillaz Demon Days
Linkin Park Meteora
More mature and introspective than it's undeniable dynamo predecessor, Meteora is packed to leave a punch to its own ego and unleash the truth behind the rage that inspired itself and Hybrid Theory. In my honest opinion, this record leaves a powerful impact that shows Linkin Park at the height of their game. A true gem.
Rise Against Appeal to Reason
Serj Tankian Elect the Dead
Stormzy Heavy Is the Head
The Stooges Fun House
Tool Ænima

4.0 excellent
A Perfect Circle aMOTION
aMotion's remarkable ability is to make Mer De Nom tracks sound even better, and re-illustrate the brilliance of Thirteenth Step tracks in an eccentric electro-aggro creative package. And you know what, I kinda loved it.
alt-J An Awesome Wave
Eminem The Slim Shady LP
Evanescence Origin
Gorillaz Gorillaz
Incubus (USA-CA) S.C.I.E.N.C.E.
Joy Division Closer
Kendrick Lamar Section.80
Lana Del Rey Born to Die
Linkin Park Hybrid Theory
Filled with angst and brimming with furious anger, Hybrid Theory's genuine rage makes it timeless despite it's timely bravura of the now absent Nu-Metal genre. It's the well lit safe house of the self-loathing cynical misanthrope, and you know what, I absolutely loved it.
Mastodon Once More 'Round the Sun
With Mastodon's technical wizardry and masculine but glossy production, Once More 'Round the Sun's shine sparks off each track like a ray coming off the beaming sun.
Nirvana MTV Unplugged in New York
OutKast Stankonia
Paramore All We Know Is Falling
Placebo Without You I'm Nothing
Placebo Sleeping with Ghosts
six impala RUBBER
The Smiths The Smiths
The Smiths Meat Is Murder
The Smiths The Queen Is Dead
Tool Undertow
Tool 10,000 Days
Tycho Epoch
Tycho created one of the most chill but subversively exciting records I've ever had the fortune to listen to. If that doesn't take talent, I don't know what does.
Tyler, the Creator IGOR
Wu-Tang Clan Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)

Chevelle Hats Off To The Bull
Chevelle Sci-Fi Crimes
Chevelle Wonder What's Next
Deftones Diamond Eyes

Evanescence Fallen
Interpol Antics
Kanye West The College Dropout
It's Kanye's insanely creative production and sprinkles of musical brilliance that pushes this ode to penny-less grinders and humble beginnings over the hill.
Kanye West My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy
Kanye West The Life of Pablo
Kendrick Lamar DAMN.
Paramore Riot!
Paramore Brand New Eyes

3.0 good
A Perfect Circle Mer de Noms
Top heavy in brilliantly provocative singles that don't stitch quite well with the bottom half's experimentally dull and forgettable tracks. But Maynard's vocals and the topnotch production does make it a trip through the sea of names, one worth taking.
A Perfect Circle Eat the Elephant
Antioch Arrow In Love With Jetts
While thunderously rambunctious and uneven, it has enough punk cathartic thrill to invite a solid
15 minute listen but not much else.
Arcade Fire Funeral
Billie Eilish When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?
Chevelle La Gárgola
Chevelle This Type Of Thinking (Could Do Us In)
Chevelle NIRATIAS
Deftones Around the Fur
Gorillaz Plastic Beach
Incubus (USA-CA) A Crow Left of the Murder...
Incubus (USA-CA) Morning View
Incubus (USA-CA) Fungus Amongus
Incubus (USA-CA) Light Grenades
Jaden Smith Syre
Technically great and produced beautifully with an artist who can surprisingly spit, but Jaden's bubble boy ego-driven lyricism and the album's length sinks it when it should soar.
Jay-Z The Blueprint
Kanye West Graduation
Kanye West 808s and Heartbreak
Kanye West Yeezus
Los Crudos Canciones Para Liberar Nuestras Fronteras
With enough guitar screeching and Latino chest pumping rage to fuel the most needy of punk scream-o enthusiasts, it'll liberar you alright.
Mastodon Emperor of Sand
Brent Hinds' sensational, ascendant guitar riffs and the band's signature technical mastery pushes this Mastodon record past the sands of mediocrity so desperately trying to bury it.
Poets of the Fall Signs of Life
Queens of the Stone Age Queens of the Stone Age
Radiohead OK Computer
Rage Against the Machine Evil Empire
Serj Tankian Imperfect Harmonies
System of a Down Mezmerize
The Killers Hot Fuss
The Knife The Knife
The Knife Silent Shout
The Strokes First Impressions of Earth
The White Stripes The White Stripes
Tom Waits Rain Dogs
Tycho Dive
Tycho's brand of being the most chillest chill-waver ever can backfire into an album that's mostly boring rather than chill and unfortunately this record is that. But there are enough tracks in here that if you need to go to sleep or want to listen to well done, objectively technical marvels then you can do both simultaneously. Obviously worth a listen, but don't do it at night.

A Perfect Circle eMOTIVe
Chevelle Vena Sera
Chevelle Point #1
Incubus (USA-CA) If Not Now, When?
Kanye West ye
Linkin Park Minutes to Midnight
Alternating between decent and bland tracks in almost tired locomotion is the recipe for making a mediocre album, and that's exactly what Linkin Park did. In fact if you take out MVP tracks "What I've Done", "Bleed it out" and "Given Up" you have one album that when compared to LP's previous efforts feels like LP-lite.
Nickelback The State
Red Hot Chili Peppers The Red Hot Chili Peppers
Saliva Back Into Your System
The Knife Shaking the Habitual

2.0 poor
Nickelback Silver Side Up
