| Howard is such a killer vocalist and he shows it very well here. His hearty voice resonates with immense power and is given even more time to shine than off of the previous record "The End of Heartache". There are still good riffs galore (although their previous album is rather hard to beat in that regards) and overall some great, catchy hooks in the form of "As Daylight Dies", "My Curse" and my personal favorite "Arms Of Sorrow". |

| I can't imagine what the transition into Howard Jones must've felt like for the band at the time, because boy does the band sound like a totally different beast here. The vocals of Jesse where certainly more abrasive as opposed to the melodic, heart felt croon Howard has. He really pushed the band in a more melodic direction, one that is equally as powerful as their previous sound. |

| Laugh Track is an insanely aggressive record that is laden with pure, catchy hardcore riffs and the most chugging, heavy breakdowns imaginable. Normally this would be an absolute drag, but Knocked Loose extends it to a point where it feels like the embodiment of raw and pissed off, and while that makes this album rather 1-dimensional, it sure as hell makes for an energetic wild ride (which is of course helped by the fact that the vocalist sounds like a rabid dog). Not the best album out there, but definitely one of the best for just taking the piss out of life. |
