| Hard for me to rate this album. I love the music but I dislike the singers voice and most of the lyrics. Best example I can give is on 'Sinking Ships', the music is killer and Metallica-esque, but the "Life is like a game of cards" line is cringe worthy for me and I usually skip the rest of the song. And on the same song, is the Rush reference on purpose? It just feels cheesy to me. Maybe I'm in the minority but because of that I don't enjoy this album nearly as much as I could. |
