4.5 superb
Animal Collective Merriweather Post Pavilion
This shit is pop done right. Some of the instrumentals are samey, but most of it is absolutely amazing. The build up on In The Flowers is one of the best I have ever heard and this album is so happy. Merriweather Post Pavilion handles simple themes in unique ways.

Some of the most beautiful instrumentation I've heard - in fact I'll say it's the pinnacle of indie rock in this regard. However, Coyne's lyrics are very polarizing often utilizing cringey Tumblr-core philosophy.

Animal Collective Hollinndagain
Azizi Gibson The Last
Azizi can create some great tracks, but most of these are solely due to his producers. Azizi himself often tries way too hard to be a Kid Cudi or Drake by forcing his god awful singing into tracks. If anything, The Last EP has be more excited for what Kamandi may do in the future.
