That album blew me away at the time and I have proceeded to compare each of their albums to that one. In that way, this album has become exactly what I needed to hear at this point in my life. The lyrics are spot on with where I am in my journey and I am thankful this album is here. That said, it is rather generic at times. Not always their most creative work instrumentally but lyrically it is perfect. These are really some of the most honest words I've ever heard come from a rock band. And because of that, everything else not being perfect has kind of fallen into place. There is one piece of their music that I miss greatly. Their breakdowns!!! Man they used to get me with some of their breakdowns. But they have grown out of that (maybe) and if it isn't their fault then they better get some amazing breakdowns on their next album. Otherwise, naturally I would give it 4 out of 5 stars, but gave it 5 to try to help even out some of these uneducated ratings.
