| One of the most unique and original progressive metal albums of 2018. A masterful work of layers of virtuoso shreds and prog metal riffs, violins and drums. The artist's "instrumental" vocals are shocking and strange, very different and enticing. The 6 songs on the album do not let up though, Metallia starts off teasingly soft in "Red Lion" but then one after another building to such force at times in "Bee" and "Resurrection" and "Dragon's Kiss", even a seasoned metalhead will whimper mercy. I dare you to listen to this album from beginning to end. |
