The answer is easy:It wasnt made for the general public
Back in the 80s,KMFDMs music was made for underground dance clubs.
If you exspect drumming machine sample speed metal ,this is not the album for you.

Better than At The Crypt,but not as good as The Last Attempt at Paradise and Despair
(Despair was an VHS released in 1982 that included Live Footage from Brickwerks,Sam's,the video for slowgun and some of the visuals spk used[Videos footage which was projected at the background on performances]) |

While not bad,i have a few problems with this
1.The Lyrics seem to be just some weird mashed together Goth Stuff,different to Deep Meanings,which was the case on Songs of older Albums (for most)
2.Some Songs are great (Convulsion,Spasmolytic),some others are boring (Grave Wisdom),some others have great ideas in them,but these ideas arent executed long enough (the accoustic Part in Nature's Revenge) |
