Its emotional melodies and soundscapes are mesmerizing and are perfectly complemented by the soaring vocal lines and words. If the heavyness they once had is not in-your-face, it is somehow subdued in there, the massive pounding of the drums being where this is most noticeable, aiding builting up the epic-ness of their music; wich screams in every song. Like I read in some review, it's probably the most "Anathema" album ever released, once it has references from earlier works from the band it's definetly a step forward, a glimpse into their future, a postulate of what the soul of this band is. It's a new-born classic!
