It doesn't commit to being a relaxed "accessible" album as much as I would've liked, but there's no denying this is one excellent batch of tracks. Nightwork is also the most complete bonus disc to date. It might as well be its own album.

Opeth Pale Communion
Opeth Deliverance & Damnation Remixed
This set is a testament to how essential a mix can be in the opinion of an album;
Deliverance has been given new life in my eyes. The original mix always felt a bit weak,
considering how the album was supposed to be their heaviest. With this new mix, it shot
up on my list of favorite Opeth albums. Amazing. And Damnation, one of their best, is
made even better. A set definitely worthwhile for Opeth fans, though I'd go for the
2CD/2DVD set. The vinyl packaging is extremely bare-bones. Not worth the price at all,
even if the sound quality is absolutely impeccable.

This album sounds like it was taken straight out of the 80s, and I mean that in the absolutely
BEST way possible. By far the best Maiden album since Dickinson rejoined the band. The soloing on
this album is absolutely incredible.
Iron Maiden Senjutsu
It might as well just be The Book of Souls 2, but that really isn't a bad thing, is it?
Jack White Fear of the Dawn
After the polarized response to Boarding House Reach, I was afraid Jack White would scale back on keeping things weird. I am very happy to be wrong!
Jamie N Commons Rumble and Sway

Junkie XL Mad Max: Fury Road
A fun score, that can be a bit boring at times. But when it reaches its highs, it absolutely soars! This has got me extremely excited for what he will bring to Batman for BvS.

A decent collection of demos from TPAB, even if it is a bit forgettable. The only tracks really

King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard The Silver Cord
A part of me wishes they had struck a happy medium between the two versions of the record. For
example, Extinction kind of feels like a limp and incomplete conclusion to the album, but the
extended mix is so much better. Even still, this is a great project. Swan Song (either version)
goes incredibly hard. The title track is one of the best thing's they've ever recorded.

Ne Obliviscaris Hiraeth
Considering that this was to be a release of pre-demo material, I wasn't expecting much of worth to be found. I've been pleasantly suprised though, as this EP is significantly better than NeO's other crownfunded EP, "Sarabande To Nihil." A definite recommendation to NeO fans.
Ne Obliviscaris Exul
Urn was a disappointment to me, so that they're back and just as good as they once were rocks. I just wish it didn't take so long!
Neal Morse Innocence & Danger
That cover of Bridge Over Troubled Water is absolute aces.
New Order Complete Music
Nine Inch Nails Not the Actual Events
Oasis Be Here Now
I feel like this album is unfairly maligned. It's definitely not the quality of the first two records, but still really great in its own right.

Steven Wilson The Raven That Refused to Sing (And Other Stories)
Steven Wilson 4 1/2
Considering how the majority of these tracks are leftovers from the HCE and Raven sessions, this
mini-album flows incredibly well. Though "Year of the Plague" and "Sunday Rain Sets In" act as
merely interludes, the rest of the release is fantastic. "Vermillioncore" is perhaps some of the
best Metal Steven has ever written, and the new recording of "Don't Hate Me" is superb. A definite
recommendation, especially if you're a big fan of Hand Cannot Erase (as I am). This might have
been a 4.5, if only it was a bit longer. It might have been a good idea to include that new
recording of Lazarus on this, but oh well.

Voyager Fearless in Love
I discovered these guys a month or two on bandcamp, and this record feels like such a unique blend
of prog metal and synth-pop. Some tracks' influences are pretty obvious (Submarine might as well
be a lost Devin Townsend track), but the record is really great, and wonderfully concise.
Young and in the Way When Life Comes to Death

3.5 great
Arch Echo Final Pitch
The best songs on here are Aluminosity and Final Pitch, that feel like something new for them and are memorable. The rest are pretty standard for what they've been doing, as good as they are at doing that.
Ariana Grande Thank U, Next
AVKRVST The Approbation
They certainly wear their influences on their sleeve, but I found this to be a pretty enjoyable slice of prog rock. "Arcane Clouds" is a gorgeous highlight.

One of the rare debut prog records where they actually did save the best stuff for the record. "Skeletons" and "Friendly Fire" are awesome. There's nothing groundbreaking here, but it's a really great slice of prog metal.

Ne Obliviscaris Sarabande to Nihil
A fun EP, though it is understandable why these were cut from Portal of I. The songs seem a bit
directionless at times, and lack memorability. But nevertheless, more NeO is always a good thing.
Ne Obliviscaris Urn
Nero Between II Worlds
Opeth Orchid
It's not a bad album by any means, but it lacks a cohesive quality that makes their latter
material so enjoyable. Dynamic changes in songs feel less like logical progressions, and more like
a bunch of ideas stiched together, with little thought put into their flow. Despite this, In The
Mist She Was Standing and Under The Weeping Moon are definite highlights.
Opeth Heritage
Opeth Sorceress
Pink Floyd The Endless River
If one's going to do a almost purely instrumental album, it needs to be less boring than what this
is. The album lacks any kind of emotional crescendo or highpoint to make the listen truly
rewarding and worthwhile. However, it creates a immersive, and truely Pink Floyd-esque atmosphere
that only they could make.
Shinedown The Sound of Madness
Shinedown The Sound of Madness (Deluxe Edition)
Stone Sour Stone Sour
Strapping Young Lad Heavy as a Really Heavy Thing

It's fine enough, but it just all sounds the same. And at being almost an hour long, it becomes a bit of a slog.

The Weeknd Starboy
Album would be a lot better if they had cut about half of the tracks there. Album is way too long.

It's kind of remarkable that they managed to make this even generic than Sons of Apollo.
Wintersun The Forest Seasons
Though Awaken from the Dark Slumber is a bit rocky, the last three tracks are fantastic, especially the behemoth that is Eternal Darkness. Better than Time I, but not as great as the debut.
