Alexisonfire Crisis
Black Drawing Chalks No Dust Stuck on You
With a even more mature sound, Black Drawing Chalks walks into a more darker sound, the guitars in "No Dust Stuck on You" sounds even more raw and furious. In this album you can see a little more of these guys influences, like Black Sabbath, Alice in Chains, Queens of the Stone Age and so on. Definitelly a great album!
Criolo Nó na Orelha
Criolo, a 35-year-old S?o Paolo rapper, became the toast of Brazil last year with this second album, whose title translates as Knot in the Ear, but which proves an easy, expansive listen. Drawing on a richer palette than the hip-hop that made Criolo a local hero, it shifts between Afro-funk on Bogot?, heavy samba on Mari?, roots reggae on Samba Sambei and MOR ballad on the totemic N?o Existe Amor em SP (There's no love in Sao Paolo). There's a poetic edge to the writing (greed vibrates/vanity excites), while the songs reflect the grime and chaos of the favelas where Criolo grew up. Outstanding.

Black Drawing Chalks Life is a big holiday for us
Among the many highlights of "Life is a big holiday for us", it is worth highlighting: "My favorite way", whose responsibility to open the album is not only made with great competence but also is considered the best from this album. "I'm a beast I'm a gun" binds the heavy guitars (And tune in C!) Queens of the Stone Age with vocals reminiscent ripped fast and Backyard Babies. Already "Finding another road" convinces us easily look for another road but while playing rock n 'roll! Another great pair of songs are "Do not take my beer", whose verses are impossible to be heard without shaking his head, and "Leaving home", last track on the disc, ending it the same way it began: showing that even there are bands out there doing rock n 'roll of the highest quality and sometimes are closer than we think.

Black Drawing Chalks Big Deal
The band shows a unique style with influences on stoner rock and raw guitars and screams that makes you want to sing along. This is great album for a debut.

Kamau Non Ducor Duco
I'm not a guy who likes rap music, but kamau caught my attention with its style, and a clever way of combining rap and hip-hop classics using samples of the Brazilian popular music.rThe Brazilian and 'paulistano' (the one who's born in Sao Paulo), extracted very well the essence of S?o Paulo for their letters depicting the daily life of an ordinary guy in the suburb of sao paulo, and trying to live life as a rapper.rThis is one of the only rap albums that I consider a good thing.
