  • DoofusWainwright I downloaded 'Wolves' and 'Lamb' from the Phospho earlier so I could play them out and about today, if the album grows on me more I'll likely download the rest.

  • DoofusWainwright I guess the Dirtwire is more 'electronic and Americana' maybe, think you'll be pleasantly surprised. It's available for 'name your price' download on bandcamp. 'Things we lost' is more varied, you have something like 'dinosaur act' which is indie rock and almost sweet sounding. I actually really enjoyed the most recent Low album which is a strong 3.5, they're much less depressive and uniformly slow nowadays. It's a huge discog to be fair to them, you might prefer their later stuff.

  • DoofusWainwright That Dirtwire is something different too, one for you to put on the back burner - electronic meets country

  • DoofusWainwright Low were a 3.5 sorta band for me based on their later career which I know pretty well (everything from Things We Lost onwards). That album is how I'd always wished they'd sounded like - so when I heard it I was blown away. I'm dishing out the 5's and 4.5's but I'm definitely getting through a lot of new music. Getting ready for the new Eitzel, 90% sure that'll end up Doof reviewed.
