 | YakNips Hmmmm, I usually read them after or during but reading them before would also be effective. It's just as long as you know what they're saying I find the emotion in the music is a lot more potent.

| YakNips Well it's more necessary imo than in any other genre. So many times I've read the lyrics to a certain album and it's helped me appreciate it more. So it's pretty important for most screamo I'd say.

| YakNips I mean most people know me as a sad bastard, but I wasn't too sad when listening to it. I just kind of threw it on while I browsed the internet, I'm so used to music like that so it doesn't really affect me.
