| ||A Black Rose Burial An Awakening of Revenants EP|
Man, this is definitely one of the more weird and random albums I have heard. It just
combines so many genres of music, which are deathcore, grind, ambient, and even a little
jazz. Now one criticism of the album is that the band uses sound clips sometimes at wrong
times and it can ruin the mood of the music or just feel too random. Really interesting
experimental album here!
| ||After The Burial Rareform (Re-release)|
While this album can be very breakdown heavy, the band still maintains a sound that does not get extremely old. All the breakdowns are fairly interesting and pretty heavy. Aside from that, the music as a whole seemed original and once again, was enjoyable, especially for a djent album.
| ||Adjentist Reach For The Sky|
This is an impressive djent release. This band stays true to the roots of the genre but
also adds other elements in to make themselves have a unique sound. Lastly, this album has
a consistent heaviness, but it is not so over-the-top that it is grinding on the ears, like
some djent albums can be.
| ||The Chameleons Strange Times||4.0|
| ||Echo and The Bunnymen Crocodiles|
Awesome original post-punk album! Echo and the Bunny men bring "cool" into their music with this album.
| ||I'll Be An Empire Aquarius|
This is a fairly good djent deathcore album. There is not a lot of extremely new, innovative material on here, but it was still really good in staying true to the genres.
| ||Slint Spiderland|
This is good for what it is, but it did not hold enough substance to really be made into anything big. Definitely overrated.
|JokineAugustus Ya. I watched it a few times as well. Russ was the man. He had such energy on stage. Hopefully he's actually a part of this album.|
