  • OmairSh As for the Mekaal Hasan Band, it's a Pakistani Jazz rock band, I've shared a few links on my review of their second album if you're interested. http://www.sputnikmusic.com/review/56398/Mekaal-Hasan-Band-Saptak/Other than these 2 check out Leprous - Bilateral.Any bands you recommend?

  • OmairSh I get the feeling you're from Brazil due to your love of Angra and Angra related albums :-D

  • OmairSh Yeah man it's unfortunate that the Dregs aren't as famous as Mahavishnu or Return to forever, but jazz fusion in general is an underappreciated genre due to the patience required to enjoy it. The lengthy solo sections get tiring for me as well. Haha I see your prog knowledge ain't bad, in fact I think your knowledge is more than mine :-). Yeah Riverside are great, check them out.
