onionbubs lol i think your message got cut off a bit there, but yeah ridiculous late career run. even though this album has made some of cursed's holes more obvious to me i love how they kinda compliment each other as like a late career sum up of everything theyd done since good mourning followed up by a fundamental change in how trio songs are written. no derek going forward doesnt have me worried per say but the new stuff will feel different for sure and ill miss him, but atom rules and i trust them

onionbubs absolutely dude. everything in the right place on that. i really gotta see how im feelin in a few years bc if theres one thing i know how to do its overinflate my love for alkaline trio lmao but smth in my bones really makes me feel like it could go down as my favorite, at least compositionally. j something about them breaking down some of the prior walls regarding the rules of alk3 is really inspiring to me it means a lot with how entrenched in my dna they are lol

onionbubs yeah theyre awful lol. havent really found a good home for at sickness yet but i think im just too used to the flow of the album as is, but it is nice feeling like they generally picked the right material for the album after so many lps where they ****ed the tracklist up

onionbubs these are cool. i really like at sickness. other two feel like theyre a draft away from being something special but have their moments. sacrifice's riff is really dope even if it doesn't really live up otherwise
