Bloodbath Grand Morbid Funeral
Was extremely skeptical of the new album at first, learning of the new vocalist from Paradise Lost and all.. but they pulled it off nicely. Not too shabby, boys. 		4.0

Job for a Cowboy Sun Eater
Holy shit. There's no way this is the same band that released Doom and I couldn't be happier. Prog? Prog. No more bree bree. I NEVER liked this band. And I never really WANTED to like this band. But looks like I'm gonna have to change my tune here pretty soon. 		4.0

Fallujah The Flesh Prevails
Airy, ethereal, technical, relentless, progressive - this album really solidifies Fallujah's place in the modern death metal scene. 		4.5

Artificial Brain Labyrinth Constellation
I HAD to check out this band after seeing them list themselves as a "Space Death Metal" band, with a
hometown listing of "Fucking Space." As far as sound? Gorguts having buttsex with Blut Aus Nord. That spawn
child fucked an Immolation/Deathspell Omega mutant baby and then that new Gorguts-nord Immospell
Omega mutant fish frog laid an egg, which fell through a black hole in space and resulted in the album
presented in front of you. 		4.5

Cynic Kindly Bent to Free Us
Obviously going to upset some of the "HUR DURR HOW DARE A BAND DO WHAT THEY DESIRE INSTEAD OF WHAT I WANT" camp of sputnik. This isn't the first time Cynic has released a more experimental album after a (retrospectively) more successful effort (see: Portal tapes). There are some real gems on here and some not-as-good songs, but nowhere NEAR as bad as some on this site are describing it. 		3.5

  • Progmaster85 by the way Traced in Air is a piece of awesome cake. and Crack the Skye is one of the most unique albums I've ever heard, though It's not my favorite by them.
