Bush The Art Of Survival
This album didn't immediately click with me like
the last one did because you really do need to
sit and enjoy it as a whole much like Razorblade
Suitcase and The Science Of Things. Loving it
even more after each spin as they have really
crammed alot of cool ideas into each song.
Another big surprise for 2022 as I did not expect
an album so complete. They have expanded upon
their past offerings(as well as the sounds found
in Institute) with this release as they now sound
modern, fresh, relevant, and hungry af. 1000
Years is my new favorite Bush song.

Destrage So much. Too much.
After that last album I did not expect anything
of this calibur.....what an experimental
barnburner blurring the lines of alternative,
hard rock, pop, psychdelic, and metal.....a
middle finger to
all the by-the-numbers metalcore bands
overcrowding the genre. Now all we need is new
SikTh, Hypno5e, Exotic Animal Petting Zoo, and
Follow The White Rabbit. Oh yeah that random
cover of Vaseline thrown in there towards the end
is icing on an already delicious cake.

Muse Will of the People
Only a couple decent moments on here for me. What
a waste of time and talent. The Butterfly
Effect's new album completely destroys this as
does does Glow/To Lose A Name, by
Unjust....respectfully so of course. Also if you
want something like older Muse, but with elements
of The Crystal Method and The Prodigy check out
the self-titled 2005 album by a band called
Miocene.

Deadly Circus Fire Extinction
Stale production aside, this is a very decent offering from the lads. It's not as epic as The Hydra's Tailor, but it's a bit more experimental and accessible at the same time. This thing is a grower so please give it a few spins to let it sink in. Sirens is imo the best song on here so atleast give that one a listen.

156/Silence Narrative
Wow I can't believe what a HUGE step up this
album is from Irrational Pull. Thanks
to Covid they couldn't tour for that album so
they ended up writing this one shortly after.
They experiment with subtle hints of melody and
sci-fi themes while mostly exploring the feelings
of being angry, frustrated, lost, helpless, and
alone. Listening to
this album is like walking through a burning
corridor not really knowing what lurks around the
corner....such a frantic, unsettling piece of
work that has plenty of juxtaposing genres
waiting to erupt at any momen

  • iGuter Would not have thanked Covid for anything, even if it gave a pause to artists on their work. It?s not a real fair comparison. However, 156/Silence?s album is incredible and deserves more recognition. Also, I hope you are doing well or better. Be safe and feel safe.
