It's funny how as time progessed, ratings for this album went all over the board. i have to admit that when i first heard this album i thought it was excellent. some music will grow on you and when it finally soaks in, you can't listen to anything else but this album is a perfect example of how it can bore you after listening to it after a while. this is different punk from billie's older stuff. this is corny political punk. the music really wasn't anything special. i fault billie the most. mike and tre didn't add too much more to the music but it's too bad that green day will put out another one of these public-embraced albums that true fans

i've got to say that this album really flew under the radar of mainstream music. a real downer so to say for a band that didn't deserve it this time around. there are some good catchy songs that only the owner would notice. only dope nose and keep fishin' were singles. the songs stay for the most part cosistent to the 12th track. fillers like "space rock", "slave" and "possibilities" were better off ripped from the drawing board. why make an alright album of 13 songs than an excellent album of 10 like they are used to. "possiblilities" is very fickle to me. why do bands like to put 2 min songs that are just really fast late in an album. (2 ot
