  • CaptainDooRight Yeah lol so true! I believe with humility mankind will progress even faster. Unfortunately we're pretty pretentious and haughty and assuming. Just saying general. Those who are smart usually don't have the money or resources to make big decisions that affect mankind. Unfortunately most people who want to advance science have to go through the political system where they make people keep quite who have too much useful information, like the cure to cancer ect.

  • CaptainDooRight Heck, weather has the potential to destroy this earth. Will it? Probably not. But it's basically 'that' unpredictable; to present a point.

  • CaptainDooRight Simply said, modern scientists do have 'some' knowledge but some of the brightest minds to ever live speculate with almost certainty, that we, as humans, have barely began to scratch of the surface of about 1% of understanding the universe, life, existence, and science. Some even speculate that existence is 'systematic' and cycle-like, currently beyond the understanding of our present knowledge. So, simply said, I nor anyone can be certain what weather cycles can and will bring.

  • CaptainDooRight Interestingly, weather science is one of the least understood phenomena, even with modern scientists. It started with the water cycle understanding but then scientists realized that 'cycle' could be much larger than we thought. Some say our drought is a natural cycle and that there's many patterns we don't have identified, like decade cycles, century-like cycles, ect. And speculations that space, other planets, and even solar system cycles can, and do affect our 'weather systems'.
