Atari dude nice! the mantle rules and yeah but you kind of just get used to those growls after awhile lol. hmmm.. i recommend in flames. they're melodeath (melodic deathmetal). the jester race and whoracle rule but you might not like all the screamed vocals. whatever you do listen to the song 'dialogue of the stars' by them. it's the catchiest song ever and there's no vocals lol

Atari hmmmm well are you looking for screaming? or more like a classic metal album? Start with Dio - Holy Diver (classic stuff). The title track especially is like one of my favorite metal songs of all time and he's not really screaming so it's probably more accessible. Dio is ronnie james dio who was also a vocalist for 2 black sabbath albums as well as rainbow (hard rock). he's a legend to bad he's dead R.I.P. but if you hate him let me know and i'll think of something else lol

Atari sure man! don't feel bad i didn't get really into metal until i was like 26 lol. so first of all, have you heard ANY metal? There are so many different types of metal :P
