| AngryLittleAlchemist My favorite songs? What I love about the record is that if you pay attention to the lyrics, it's practically a dissection of Josh Homme's depression after getting into a comma(hence the "shock me awake" tee shirts). A lot of the songs have a completely different mood but they all speak of how abandoned he felt after his comma. My favorites are the last two songs, they're so emotional and work off together so well and they make you want to cry. They're the best QOTSA songs I've ever heard.

| AngryLittleAlchemist well I have to warn you, it's a GROWER for sure. It's kind of like Alternative Rock ... it's not really "hard rock" like Songs for the Deaf. It's less metal. But it's better. Way more consistent, no filler, and the last two tracks almost made me CRY. Seriously.
