Animosity was the album that first introduced me to Sevendust. When I listened to it I was addicted. Even though I listened to their other albums, Animosity was still my favorite. It has a a nice Nu-metal sound (thats what I think) and a great twist of R&B vocals intergrated with it. It has a sort of smoothness inside each of the songs....thats what I think anyway. Favorite songs would be Trust, Xmas Day, Dead Set and Live Again

This record is a masterpiece no filler in sight, LJ's best vocal performance, production is fire, Morgan Rose is a beast behind the drum kit, the songwriting by Clint is always great.r

I know this isn't really a perfect 5 album a la an Abbey Road, but the middle school nostalgia mixed with the fact that it absolutely still holds up today in 2018 make me give this the highest possible rating. Its heavy, melodic, and catchy without feeling superficial. Definitely in my vote for one of the best nu-metal/mainstream rock albums

This is a excellent album from Sevendust. The lyrics are great and carry so much meaning. This sets a new standard for them. This is a little less heavy then Home but that doesn't mean they have lost what make them great. My favorite sons are Follow, Trust, Praise, and Live Again.

After one listen to this album, one would notice the greater amount of melodies incorporated in the music of Sevendust compared to earlier work. There are 2 acoustic tracks and has given this band a new, lighter and more emotional path to go on.
