Experimental and groovy containing many good songs. The use of the organ was very positive and it's combined very well with the band's style. However, I have found other releases by them much stronger. Recommendations: "Incomparable Mr. Flannery", "Mice & Gods", "Never Be Moved", "10001110101"
Pretty much Identical to every single other clutch album: Bluesy, Ballsy, and Badass. While it would be impossible to say that Clutch re-invent the wheel with every album, they do what they do well and every album they make works perfectly in instilling an overwhelming feeling of manliness in even the most estrogen-riddled pansy; this album is no different. 3.9/5
A good follow up to Blast Tyrant. There are a lot of strong songs on here and I did find a number of them are real growers. The production is a little less slick than Blast Tyrant but this isn't a bad thing and seems to suit the bands sound more. Fallon's lyrics are genius as usual
This is on of my favorite albums ive ever heard. it has great, clever lyrics combined with blues and heavy riffs. the vocals are very gritty and deep. they dont vary much throughout the album but they are good enough to enjoy. the guitars are very bluesy and the solos are mixed greatly without being too complicated. the drums have jazzy fills and that work well with their keyboard. i highly recommend this album to anyone that likes rock.
my recommended tracks are: ALL OF THEM!!
